Reviews and Ratings
The hotel has a great location in the touristic area of Catania and is right next to the COIN department store. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with fully functioning air-con which was really needed during the heatwave in July, a comfy bed, a bathroom designed for dwarves, and a decorated ceiling. The service was a bit of a mixed bag with some rude staff making us wait at the desk for over 20 minutes, but they did accommodate my request to move rooms away from the front of the hotel. The location is convenient being in the center of town, although there were some concerns about the edges of the panelling in the bathroom possibly affecting the appearance. The dining experience was enjoyable with traditional Sicilian dishes, and the facilities were satisfactory. The value for money was decent considering the location and room amenities, but some aspects could be improved.
My stay at the hotel was pleasant overall. The rooms had a nice modern bathroom with good Wi-Fi, but the ornate ceiling was a unique touch. The service had its ups and downs with accommodating requests but lacking proper service at times. The location was central, close to the city center and main tourist sights. The dining options were decent, with traditional Sicilian dishes available. The facilities were satisfactory, providing essential services for a comfortable stay.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The location was convenient, right in the middle of the city center, but the service fell short with unaccommodating staff. The dining experience with traditional Sicilian dishes was a highlight, although the area's reputation was concerning.
